Shape Provincial Transport Regulation
Director: Transport Operator Licence and Permits
Ref: 69/2025/26 | Salary: R1 266 741 (Level 13, all-inclusive)
Be at the forefront of regulating and modernising public transport operations in the North West Province. In this strategic leadership role, you will:
✔ Oversee transport operating licence compliance
✔ Guide Provincial Regulatory Bodies
✔ Resolve transport planning conflicts across municipalities
✔ Drive policy implementation aligned with national legislation
You’ll need:

An NQF Level 7 qualification in Transport, Management, or Administration
-
At least five years’ senior management experience in transport

Strong knowledge of transport legislation and regulatory systems

A valid driver’s licence

Director: Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation
Ref: 70/2025/26 | Salary: R1 266 741 (Level 13, all-inclusive)
Take charge of shaping the department’s strategic direction and performance excellence. In this pivotal governance role, you will:
✔ Lead strategic and annual performance planning
✔ Oversee monitoring, evaluation, and research initiatives
✔ Align budgeting with long-term strategic priorities
✔ Strengthen accountability and internal governance systems
You’ll need:

An NQF Level 7 qualification in Public Management, Administration, or M&E
-
Five years’ experience at senior managerial level in strategy or performance oversight

In-depth knowledge of public finance and regulatory frameworks

A valid driver’s licence
