🌍 Chief Director: Tourism Sector Human Resource Development

Salary Package: R1,494,900 per annum (all-inclusive)

This executive role is ideal for a visionary leader with a strong background in skills development and sector coordination. You will drive national tourism HRD initiatives, build strategic partnerships, and ensure that the tourism workforce is equipped for future growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Set strategic direction for tourism skills development

• Lead governance and programme implementation across the sector

• Build partnerships with industry and learning institutions

• Manage high-impact projects and resources

🚀 Director: Enterprise Development

Ref: DT13/2026 | Pretoria
Salary Package: R1,266,714 per annum (all-inclusive)

This role is perfect for a development-focused leader passionate about supporting tourism MSMEs. You will design and deliver programmes that unlock access to markets, finance, training, and incubation opportunities for emerging tourism enterprises.

What You’ll Do:

• Strengthen tourism enterprise support platforms and services

• Expand market access and trade opportunities for MSMEs

• Lead enterprise incubation and growth initiatives

• Mobilise partnerships and resources to support business development

What You Need to Qualify

• A SAQA-recognised qualification at NQF Level 7 or higher

• At least 5 years’ management experience (senior level for Chief Director)

• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement skills

• Knowledge of public sector governance and financial management

• A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel

• Completion of the SMS Pre-Entry Certificate (mandatory)
