Finance Clerk: Financial Control and Accounting (DT14/2026)

📍 Location: Pretoria
📄 Contract: 6 months

In this role, you will assist with financial record keeping, payment processing, and transaction verification within government financial systems.

Key duties include:

• Processing journals and clearing BAS system exceptions

• Updating financial data on BAS and LOGIS

• Verifying banking details through Safetyweb

• Managing financial payment batches

• Preparing financial reports and maintaining records

• Handling finance-related queries

Experience with PERSAL, BAS, LOGIS, or Safetyweb will be an advantage.

Finance Clerk: Creditors, Travel, Accommodation and Subsistence (DT15/2026)

📍 Location: Pretoria
📄 Contract: 6 months
💰 Salary: R228,321 per year + 37% benefits

This role focuses on travel claims, creditor payments, and financial administration.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Processing travel and subsistence claims

• Capturing claims on the PERSAL system

• Verifying invoices and payment documents

• Processing procurement payments via LOGIS

• Compiling payment registers

• Managing travel advance payments

This position is ideal for candidates with Matric including Mathematics and Accounting.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

✔ Grade 12 (Matric)
✔ Basic financial knowledge
✔ Computer literacy
✔ Good communication and organisational skills

Knowledge of public sector financial regulations and systems such as PERSAL, BAS, or LOGIS will be beneficial.
