Who Should Apply?

The department is looking for motivated and experienced professionals who have:

• Grade 12
• A Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in:
  • Social or Human Sciences
  • Development Studies
  • Social Work
• A valid driver’s licence
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience

What You’ll Be Doing

Successful candidates will:

• Support policies that advance women’s empowerment and equality
• Conduct gender-focused research and analysis
• Coordinate stakeholder consultations and partnerships
• Assist in implementing the National Strategic Plan on GBVF
• Monitor programme performance and compile reports
• Work alongside government departments and provincial stakeholders

• Excellent report-writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of gender-related policies and legislation
• MS Office proficiency
• Leadership and people management experience
