Who Should Apply?
The department is looking for motivated and experienced professionals who have:
- Grade 12
- A Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in:
- Social or Human Sciences
- Development Studies
- Social Work
- A valid driver’s licence
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience

What You’ll Be Doing
Successful candidates will:
- Support policies that advance women’s empowerment and equality
- Conduct gender-focused research and analysis
- Coordinate stakeholder consultations and partnerships
- Assist in implementing the National Strategic Plan on GBVF
- Monitor programme performance and compile reports
- Work alongside government departments and provincial stakeholders

- Excellent report-writing and communication skills
- Knowledge of gender-related policies and legislation
- MS Office proficiency
- Leadership and people management experience
