**Kick-Start Your Career with the DSAC Internships Programme 2026–2028**

Are you a young South African graduate ready to gain real-world experience and build a career in the public sector? The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC) is offering an exciting opportunity through its 24-month Internships Programme (2026–2028), based in Pretoria, Gauteng.

This programme is designed to empower graduates, develop critical workplace skills, and expose interns to meaningful work across sport, arts, culture, governance, ICT, finance, and social development.

What the Programme Offers

  • ✔️ 24 months of structured workplace experience

  • ✔️ Monthly stipend of R7 860.50

  • ✔️ Exposure to government operations and national programmes

  • ✔️ Mentorship and skills development

  • ✔️ A strong foundation for future career opportunities

📍 All internships are based in Pretoria. Accommodation and transport are not provided.

Opportunities are available across a wide range of disciplines, including:

  • Archives, Heritage & Cultural Development

  • Language Services, Social Cohesion & Nation Building

  • Finance, Supply Chain, Audit & Risk Management

  • Human Resources & Legal Services

  • ICT, Communications & Infrastructure

  • Sport and Recreation Development

  • Security and Work Environment

(Multiple positions are available in several directorates.)

Who Should Apply?

You are encouraged to apply if you:

  • Are a South African citizen

  • Have completed Matric

  • Hold a relevant Degree or National Diploma (NQF Level 6)

  • Are currently unemployed

  • Have not participated in any internship programme before
