The Department of Traditional Affairs is looking for an experienced and driven legislative professional to join its senior management team in Pretoria.

Who Should Apply?

You are a strong candidate if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Law, Public Policy, or related fields

  • At least 5 years’ experience at junior management or Assistant Director level

  • Solid experience in policy and legislative drafting

  • A valid driver’s licence

You should also demonstrate:

  • Strategic leadership capability

  • Strong analytical and drafting skills

  • Financial and programme management competence

  • Knowledge of traditional governance systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
