Free State Education Department Hiring Now – Multiple 2026 Vacancies Open!

Among the top vacancies is the Deputy Director: eCares Manager role, offering a salary package of between R932,292 and over R1 million per year. The department is searching for skilled professionals in ICT, Information Systems, Data Management, and Computer Science to lead and support the provincial eCares system rollout.

If you have experience in cloud systems, reporting, user support, or education technology platforms, this opportunity could be ideal for you.

Another exciting leadership role is the Deputy Director: Early Childhood Operations Manager position. The successful candidate will help drive ECD operations, improve registration systems, and coordinate subsidy implementation across districts.

Data Specialists and Administrators Wanted

The department is also looking for an Assistant Director: ECD Data Quality Assurance Officer to strengthen reporting and data accuracy across the province. Applicants with knowledge of EMIS, Power BI, Tableau, or business intelligence systems are strongly encouraged to apply.
