Are You Qualified?

To be considered, you need:

✔ Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering specialising in Water and Sanitation (or equivalent NQF Level 9 qualification)
✔ 10 years or more post-qualification experience
✔ Professional Engineer registration with ECSA

What You’ll Do

• Drive innovative water and sanitation infrastructure solutions.
• Provide high-level technical leadership and specialist support.
• Guide municipal infrastructure planning and development.
• Lead research and advisory projects that shape future service delivery.

Opportunity 2: Chief Engineer (Civil)

📍 Location: Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal

Requirements

✔ Civil Engineering Degree (BEng/BSc Eng or equivalent)
✔ Minimum 6 years post-qualification experience
✔ Professional Engineer registration with ECSA

Key Duties

• Lead municipal infrastructure programmes and engineering initiatives.
• Support municipalities through strategic technical interventions.
• Manage infrastructure projects from planning to implementation.
• Oversee procurement, feasibility studies, and contract administration.
