Opportunity 1: Senior Data Analyst – Data Governance
📍 Pretoria
💰 R1,101,468 per annum (inclusive package)

If you’re an experienced data governance professional with a passion for data quality, compliance, and strategic information management, this role offers the chance to lead critical initiatives that strengthen data governance across the National Treasury.
What You’ll Need
✔ Grade 12 certificate
✔ Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Information Management, or a related field
✔ At least 4 years of relevant experience, including leadership-level analytical experience
✔ Knowledge of data governance frameworks and DAMA-DMBOK standards
✔ Understanding of POPIA and data privacy requirements
What You’ll Do
- Drive data governance implementation across the organisation
- Improve data quality and compliance
- Manage metadata repositories and data catalogues
- Support data security and risk management efforts
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Opportunity 2: Data Analyst – Administrative Data and Research

- Analyse administrative datasets to support policy research
- Conduct data quality reviews and assessments
- Prepare reports, policy briefs, and presentations
- Contribute to research projects that influence national policy
- Present findings to stakeholders and at industry forums
