Minimum Requirements
To qualify, you’ll need:
✔ Grade 12 (Matric)
✔ National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Financial Accounting, Auditing, or Risk Management
✔ At least 2 years’ experience in:
- Financial reporting
- Internal control
- Compliance monitoring
- Risk management
✔ Knowledge of:
- PFMA and Treasury Regulations
- Financial reporting systems and internal controls
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior State Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
✅ Supporting internal control and compliance processes
✅ Assisting with annual financial statements and reporting
✅ Maintaining financial databases and accounting records
✅ Coordinating audit and governance activities

✅ Updating financial management policies and procedures
✅ Managing loss control processes and registers
