The Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent (MISA) is offering an exceptional opportunity to join its Head Office as a Legal Administrative Officer (Ref: MISA-LAO-18).

🎓 Do You Qualify?

You must:

  • Hold an LLB degree

  • Be admitted as an Attorney or Advocate of the High Court

  • Have at least 5 years post-qualification experience

Experience levels:

  • MR3: 5 years PQE

  • MR4: 8 years PQE

  • MR5: 14 years PQE

Public sector experience? That’s a strong advantage.

🧠 Your Expertise Should Include:

  • PFMA & Treasury Regulations

  • Public Service Act & PSA Regulations (2016)

  • Supply Chain Management & Procurement Law

  • Tender and Contract Administration

  • Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act

  • Labour law and governance advisory

🔎 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing organisational legal matters

  • Supporting litigation processes

  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, SLAs, and MOUs

  • Advising on procurement and infrastructure regulations

  • Serving on governance committees

  • Providing strategic legal guidance to leadership

This role demands a confident, strategic legal professional who can navigate complex regulatory environments.
