What You’ll Be Doing
As a key strategic leader, you will:
✔ Drive national communication strategies
✔ Oversee digital media, content production, and messaging
✔ Ensure consistent government branding and communication
✔ Lead marketing, media buying, and outreach initiatives
✔ Use research and insights to improve communication effectiveness
✔ Guide governance, compliance, and financial oversight
✔ Collaborate across departments to unify messaging nationwide
Do You Qualify?
You should have:
✅ A Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 8) in Communication, Media, Journalism, PR, or similar
✅ 8+ years of senior management experience
✅ Completed the Nyukela SMS Pre-Entry Programme
✅ Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
✅ Solid understanding of government communication systems
