What You’ll Need
To qualify, you should have:
✅ Grade 12 (Matric)
✅ National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Financial Management, Financial Accounting, or a related qualification
✅ 3–5 years’ experience in a financial management environment
✅ Supervisory experience
✅ Strong Microsoft Office skills
✅ A valid driver’s licence
Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Public Service legislation, PSET/CET legislation, and NSFAS regulations will be highly advantageous.
What You’ll Be Doing
As Assistant Director: Financial Accounting, you’ll play a critical role in managing the college’s financial operations, including:
✔ Revenue collection and banking oversight
✔ Debt management and debtor control
✔ Expenditure monitoring and payment authorisation
✔ Financial reporting and budget monitoring
✔ Supervising and developing finance staff
✔ Ensuring compliance with public sector financial regulations
