Do You Qualify?

To be considered, you should have:

• A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or higher qualification in Natural Sciences, Environmental Management, or a related field recognised by SAQA.
• At least two years of experience as a Project Coordinator within the Natural Resources Management environment.

Experience in the following areas will be highly advantageous:

• Project management
• Alien invasive vegetation control
• Financial administration
• Occupational Health and Safety compliance
• Stakeholder relations
• Report writing and communication

The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, able to work under pressure, and confident in managing field operations and project teams.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Project Coordinator, you will help drive environmental programme success through:

Planning and Coordination

• Supporting project planning and target setting
• Coordinating stakeholder engagements
• Assisting with training and development plans

Project Delivery

• Coordinating EPWP field worker recruitment
• Monitoring environmental programme activities
• Overseeing alien vegetation clearing operations

Monitoring and Compliance

• Conducting site inspections
• Tracking project performance and expenditure
• Ensuring health and safety compliance

Project Completion

• Preparing close-out reports
• Conducting final assessments
• Managing project certification processes
