Do You Qualify?
To be considered, you should have:
- A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or higher qualification in Natural Sciences, Environmental Management, or a related field recognised by SAQA.
- At least two years of experience as a Project Coordinator within the Natural Resources Management environment.
Experience in the following areas will be highly advantageous:
- Project management
- Alien invasive vegetation control
- Financial administration
- Occupational Health and Safety compliance
- Stakeholder relations
- Report writing and communication
The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, able to work under pressure, and confident in managing field operations and project teams.
What Will You Be Doing?
As a Project Coordinator, you will help drive environmental programme success through:
Planning and Coordination
- Supporting project planning and target setting
- Coordinating stakeholder engagements
- Assisting with training and development plans
Project Delivery
- Coordinating EPWP field worker recruitment
- Monitoring environmental programme activities
- Overseeing alien vegetation clearing operations
Monitoring and Compliance
- Conducting site inspections
- Tracking project performance and expenditure
- Ensuring health and safety compliance
Project Completion
- Preparing close-out reports
- Conducting final assessments
- Managing project certification processes
