These high-level government positions offer an attractive Salary Level 14 package ranging from R1.49 million to R1.78 million per annum.

What the Treasury Is Looking For

• Strategic leadership and decision-making skills
• Experience in budgeting, compliance, and organisational planning

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants must have:

• An NQF Level 7 qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• At least five years’ senior management experience in financial management
• A valid driver’s licence

A postgraduate qualification in Finance or Accounting will serve as a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

As Chief Financial Officer, you will:

• Lead financial strategy and governance initiatives
• Manage departmental budgets and expenditure
• Ensure compliance with financial legislation and policies
• Oversee supply chain and asset management systems
• Drive financial reporting and accountability
• Lead and develop finance teams within the department
