These high-level government positions offer an attractive Salary Level 14 package ranging from R1.49 million to R1.78 million per annum.

What the Treasury Is Looking For
The Provincial Treasury seeks dynamic, results-driven leaders with:

- Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and public finance systems
- Strategic leadership and decision-making skills
- Experience in budgeting, compliance, and organisational planning
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must have:
- An NQF Level 7 qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- At least five years’ senior management experience in financial management
- A valid driver’s licence
A postgraduate qualification in Finance or Accounting will serve as a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
As Chief Financial Officer, you will:
- Lead financial strategy and governance initiatives
- Manage departmental budgets and expenditure
- Ensure compliance with financial legislation and policies
- Oversee supply chain and asset management systems
- Drive financial reporting and accountability
- Lead and develop finance teams within the department
